MARRIOTT Putrajaya muncul juara Piala Tengku Adnan selepas menewaskan Sunway Resort & SPA pada perlawanan akhir baru-baru ini.

HOTEL Marriott Putrajaya muncul juara Kejohanan Bola sepak Antara Hotel-Hotel bagi merebut Piala Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansur dan Piala 100 Plus yang berakhir di Kompleks Sukan Taman Pancarona, Putrajaya baru-baru ini.

Kejohanan tersebut merupakan sebahagian daripada aktiviti sempena sambutan Hari Wilayah Persekutuan tahun ini.

Pada final yang berlangsung penuh sengit itu, Marriott Putrajaya menewaskan Sunway Resorts & SPA 4-2, sekali gus menebus kekecewaan tahun lalu.

Sebaik perlawanan bermula, Sunway Resorts & SPA yang dikendalikan Mohd. Faizal Salleh itu lebih dulu memecah kebuntuan untuk mendahului permainan 2-0 menerusi jaringan Mohd. Asry Nasry dan Mohd. Farhan Mohd. Salim.

Begitupun, kegembiraan mereka itu tidak kekal lama apabila Marriott Putrajaya bangkit dengan aksi lebih garang pada separuh masa kedua.

Badrul Hisham merapatkan jurang gol selepas pasukannya dihadiahkan sepakan penalti untuk menjadikan kedudukan 2-1.

Selepas itu, giliran Rosdianto Anto mencipta nama selaku penjaring untuk menjadikan kedudukan 2-2 dan jaringan tersebut ternyata meniupkan semangat Marriott Putrajaya.

Dua lagi gol Marriott Putrajaya diperoleh menerusi Mohd. Farid Abdul Ghani, sekali gus mengesahkan kejuaraan.

Sementara itu pada perlawanan penentuan tempat ketiga dan keempat, pasukan Grand Millennium berjaya menewaskan Grand Bluewave 3-2.

Sebanyak 31 pasukan menyertai kejohanan tahunan anjuran Zuhas Sports itu sempena sambutan Hari Wilayah Persekutuan.

Antara pasukan yang mengambil bahagian pada edisi kali ini termasuk Seri Pacific, Marriott Putrajaya, Cititel, Royale Bintang KL, Mandarin Oriental, Grand Hyatt, Shangri La KL, Mines Wellnees, The Gardens Hotel, Awana Genting, Royale Chulan KL, Royale Chulan Damansara, Hilton KL, Westin, Double Three, Grand Blue Wave dan Hilton PJ.

Lain-lain pasukan terdiri daripada Sunway Resorts, Concorde KL, Concorde KLIA, Grand Millennium, Furama, Le Meridien, Palace Of The Golden Horses, Impiana KLCC , Federal Hotel serta Inter Continental, Cyberview Resort dan Grand Seasons.
